crazy I was supposed to post these pictures about a month ago, kaso walang time. This is my hamster's second batch of babies. She ate all of the first batch (4 babies) back in May! Then she ate 2 from the second batch, and ate the other one in the picture. So, only one hamster baby really survived. And she's now too big to be eaten alive by the mother. The mother by the way, only has one arm as the result of a freak hamster wheel accident. I spent fuckin' 400++php just to get her treated at the vet! Oh well, I love my pets, no matter how small they are. ^_^
BTW, the hamster baby who lived is the one on the right.

eating their babies for their own nourishment (may it be after pregnancy or not) doesn't make them good mothers at all. i still think it's sick for them to do that. it's a good thing we are so different from hamsters.
btw...you like hamsters?! whoa! totally unexpected but i think it's cool. i hope your hamster(s) won't get themselves in anymore freak accidents anytime soon. :)
